og først embosset jeg blomsten i hvitt.

Kortet er 12x17 cm

The process for the making of the card is in the Kort & Godt blog.

I have used a die as a stencil,

but first I embossed the flower with white embossing powder.

The card is 12x17 cm

Blir så fint med hvitt!

Fargene kommer så godt frem :)

Scrappiness challenge

Utfordringen fra Scrappiness denne gangen er å gjøre noe nytt,

en ny teknikk du ikke har prøvd,

For mange år siden så jeg ei lampe som Ellis hadde laget,

og den kom jeg til å tenke på når jeg fikk disse papirene i julegave :)

Så ettersom jeg aldri har laget en slik lampe,

så måtte jeg jo prøve!

Lampa er 42 cm høy, og ikke så enkel å ta bilder av ;)

For many years ago I saw this lamp that Ellis had made,

and I thought of the lamp when I got these papers for Christmas :)

So then I just had to give it a go, 

and make me a lamp!

The lamp is 42 cm high, and not so easy to take pictures of ;)

Selve lampefoten er inspirert av Wenches kurv,

når det gjelder bretting av papiret ;)

Jeg har stemplet en tekst, som går rundt hele lampefoten.

The lampstand is inspired by Wenches basket,

when it comes to the folding of the paper ;)

I have stamped a text onto the four sides of the lapstand.

Stanset ut hjerter i lampeskjermen, så man kan nyte "flammen" 

fra det elektriske lyset ;)

I have cut out some hearts, so I can enjoy the "flames"

from the electric candlelight ;)

Selve lampa kan tas av foten,

her har jeg brukt magneter for å holde de sammen.

Så da kan du bruke de hver for seg ;)

You can take off the lamp from the stand,

I have used magnets to hold them together.

So you can use them separately ;)

Og i lampefoten kan du gjemme litt sjokolade!

Gode gjemmesteder for sjokolade er alltid bra å ha ;)

og jeg har fargelagt det som en akvarell.

Med mye vann, og latt fargene få flyte sammen selv.

I settet følger det med dies, og blomsterstempler som passer til disse.

Her har jeg stanset ut blomster i foamiran,

så har jeg stemplet og embosset med gull.

Litt vann og farger, så matcher de kortet mitt :)
