*****************
I wanted to alter a easter egg for my nephew,
and since he like dragons and dinosaurs i had to try to make it look like a reptile egg ;)
***************************
The egg is placed on a box, and i have filled the box with sisal.
The box was first colored with black gesso, then i attached metallfoil tape that i had embossed.
Colored it with different colors of alcohol ink.
*******************
The egg was also painted with gesso, inside and outside.
Then i attached metallfoil tape that i had embossed, on the outside.
And then i colored the whole egg with different colors of alchol ink.
********************************
When the egg had dried, i went over it with the pearl ink .
To make the egg shimmer :)
****************
And my nephew think it was the most awesome egg, ever ;)
****************
And when i was finished with the reptile egg, i wanted to make a more lady-like one ;)
*************************
This egg was first painted with white gesso, inside and outside.
Then i glued on old bookpages, with mod podge.
When this was dry, i painted on a layer with Distress crackle paint.
And while it was wet, i sprinkled on some Distress glitter.
When the egg had dried, i sprayed it with chalkboard in the color Mint chocolate chip.
***********************
The ribbon was colored with Tumbled glass and Broken china, to match the feathers.
********************
Glued on some pussy willows, roses and little flowers.
Ønsker dere alle ei riktig god påske ♥
Klem, Maya

Happy Easter, peeps ♥
